miranda uses even less :)
www.miranda-im.org

(the problems are not caused by the client, but by the icq network)

rockbear 10-26-2006 09:41 AM

No body know where the problem is exactly?

Tom_PM 10-26-2006 09:43 AM

It wont send URL's, and even it's Tzers dont send. To send a url, chop off the http://www. and just send the rest.

Those are the problems I have been seeing anyway.

marketsmart 10-26-2006 09:44 AM

yes icq has problems i hope they fix...

rockbear 10-26-2006 09:46 AM

PR_toms I did some test with messages without the url there and some message are lost too.

Violetta 10-26-2006 10:30 AM

been working fine for me...

BluewireAngie 10-26-2006 10:33 AM

same here... won't send URL's :(

Tom_PM 10-26-2006 10:35 AM

Normally it loses some random messages if both people aren't on each others contact lists. If you both are and it's losing plain text messages, then no idea.

interesting..what are pros and cons with going with an all - in one type software like this?

Lykos 10-26-2006 10:44 AM

yeah so stupid u cant send or recive urls :(

SykkBoy 10-26-2006 11:32 AM

Yeah, the not being able to send URLs thing is a major pain in the ass...it's especially hard when trying to assist an affiliate...they get frustrated because they think I'm ignoring them or being a dumbass and I get frustrated because i don't know what the hell they are talking about...

TG Rebecca 10-26-2006 12:19 PM

it seem people weren't getting some messages from me too, when i talked to them later they had no idea what i was talking about. not sure how many are being lost though..

HunkyLuke 10-26-2006 08:13 PM

same....any message with a URL in it does not get sent??? very strange!
