Which affiliate program? I-Bill Revshare or CC-Bill's?

I've been wondering for along time... what affiliate program solution to use? What do you prefer? do you consider the billing processing revenue sharing to be more trustable?

MikeyBoy 07-07-2002 05:45 AM

they both suck go with Epoch
or try one of the new boys in town like pswbilling

Tipsy 07-07-2002 05:58 AM

Why only the 2 choices?

orman 07-07-2002 06:11 AM

I live in Israel... epoch doesn't seem to support int. clients

MikeyBoy 07-07-2002 08:36 AM

@orman
they do I live in denmark
just give 'em a call!

Cogitator 07-07-2002 10:35 AM

I do know that iBill pays out to the revsharer directly and they've never missed a payment.

XXXPaysiteDesign 07-07-2002 10:42 AM

Ibill also doesn't have any fees to send you a check. CCbill's fees are ludicrous.

thats because the fees are passed to the owner,,,,
thats why 50/50 partnerships are completely different between
ibill and ccbill

check fee? partners get paid out once they make at least $25, paysite owners $15....There is a 37 cent stamp fee that we pass on to you....nothing other than that to mail a check out

Program owners have the option of splitting the CCBill fee with their partners, or to pay it out of their portion

Kimmykim 07-07-2002 12:09 PM

I might be biased, but I think CCBill is THE best for handling transactions, etc.

Never missed a payment, always paid back reserves, and of course, none of those pesky little technical difficulties that make for transactions not working.

Fletch XXX 07-07-2002 12:14 PM

How much do you have to make with ibill before they cut you a check on referrals?

I have multiple accounts with amounts ranging from 25-39.36 in them. I dont push those particular affiliates anymore, it kind aggrivates me knowing I have accounts with like 40 bucks in them for like a year now, thats a bit weird to me.

I have been telling myself it must be 50 bucks, so fuck it. BUt you guys say 25?

Eh im confused now.

TheApostate 07-07-2002 12:36 PM

Ibill pays out at $50 if they decide to pay you at all.
Fuck Ibill :ak47: :BangBang: :321GFY

Terenzo 07-07-2002 12:39 PM

geee... who cares whether minimal check amount is $25 or $50 or $200... if you cannot even reach this, what are you hanging on this board, go and flip burgers.

i got great support at ccbill, namly kimmy is extremly helpful..

i had very bad experience with ibill - they still own me revshare money, but they never will pay...

what i do not like on ccbill is that fucking cookie stuff, why do they not provide the possibility to pass the aff.id in the get or post string????

It does matter when affiliates arent getting paid, and wondering what the minimum payout is.

I think it does matter. I looked at the site just now and still cant find the payout minimum, although I could be blind.

I stopped promiting the sites, so the minimum will never be reached... it's not that I cant reeach it.

:winkwink:

mike503 07-07-2002 03:02 PM

ibill's revshare interface is a piece of shit. i hate it. the less people who use it the better.. i dont want to check my stats there ;(

Kimmykim 07-07-2002 03:28 PM

Terenzo -- I know that CCBill does offer a way to do reseller that involves the link codes as well as cookies. However, for site owners to use it, everyone who's sending them traffic has to use the new links as I understand it -- meaning that tons of affiliates would have to change links, something that most site owners never want to have happen.

Right here it would appear, in seeming violation of Mastercard and some Visa policies.
While I like Paypal and use it quite a bit, I don't know that it will be around this time next year at this rate.

SunTzu 07-07-2002 11:06 PM

CCBill is solid and so is Epoch. Why just go with one? You should have more than one billing option for your affiliates - let them decide.

:2 cents:

Epoch yeah good call...If you make any serious cash, you'll have problems getting your money out of them. Don't bother.

sexpress 07-07-2002 11:45 PM

CCbill

EscortBiz 07-08-2002 12:00 AM

I tried many ccbill is the way to go no bullshit about checks being delayed about some bank error, the first time i heared about bank errors was in this business

epoch aka paycom might be good now but about a year ago they really screwed people over for a few months

The fact is ccbill got me going in less then 24hours ever since I got great support and I know that myself and my affiliates can sleep well at night knowing that the system is up and that checks will arrive weekly

While we are at it I noticed a funny thing with declines most of declines are checks and the funny thing is the people use BS email address like [email protected] so thank god it did not go thru.

kmanrox 07-08-2002 12:35 AM

we use ccbill and love em =)

Weird. Your signup form doesn't contain a "Country" field
and your sales team fail to respond my emails.

I'm processing over $20K a month (which will probably get much higher with an affiliate program) anywhere else to signup?

Jak 07-09-2002 04:05 AM

We use CCBill and the service rocks hardcore. :BangBang:

JOP 07-09-2002 06:19 AM
