OK - Found my first 'piss off' with FF2
They have put that close button on the tabs - I keep hitting it when I go to move to a tab and closing it....
I'm going to have to find a fix for that..... |
i stay with IE...
|
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/158/
download that, then goto tools > options > tab browsing > display options > check disable close button on inactive tabs then select "on the tab strip" in the drop down for display close tab buttons |
yeah i liked the X for the tabs when there was 1 way over to the right

no problem

It must piss developers off - they spend all that time creating new stuff for us and then when we get it we spend the next few days trying to make it look like the old version. :)
|
Nice fix.
|
takes a few days to get used to, but once you do, you realize the x next to each tab is better....
|
does it run stable ?

That's good to know. :)
|
They are trying to copy Mac browsers, fucking hippies.
|
i hate it that the alt+s on forums has been removed now in FF2 and goes to HISTORY in the top menu
|
This is obviously a better version.

Better fix with no extra downloads:
Goto about:config in a tab. Search for "browser.tabs.closeButtons" and set the value to "3" Bingo! |
Im pretty happy with it...
