if your running the new firefox can you test www.filecabi.net try one of the videos like this one http://www.filecabi.net/video/watertime25.html in mediaplayer mode and tell me if you see the play/stop /volume buttons.. mine suddenly vanished after the upgrade

see them, all OK, on my Mac w/ Firefox 2, but I also have Flip4Mac installed so that the QuickTime plug-in is being used for the Windows Media playback

hmm i also have the quicktime plugin on another computer and it works fine on there but its also the old firefox.. i dont use firefox much so i wasnt sure if perhaps its just doesnt play wmv files normally by default..

I just tried and its fine FF2 on XP and Media Player 10.

Have you tried it in IE lately?

yup works like normal in ie .. it works fine in firefox but the "play/stop/volume" bar is missing . do you see those ?

perhaps it has something to do with media player 11 , although shouldnt and i had it before firefox 2.0

do you have quicktime ? because it works on my machine qith quicktime plugin installed

Yeah - its all their.

I have QuickTime as well - Just the free one though not the Pro version.
