Radio shack video signal booster actually work?

I've got a severe 'ghosting' problem on our tv. It's not the tv or even the input itself, it looks great when playing a DVD, but when watching cable there's ghosting stretching about an inch off the target so it's pretty obvious.

I'm wondering about a weak signal because we've got about 7 coaxial cable outlets here and I don't think there's a booster anywhere in the mix. The signal coming INTO the house is good, had that checked out.

I moved the cable around to remedy that problem..

There's a good bit of explanations and help if ya do a 'cable tv ghosting' search..

Yes those boosters CAN help, if thats your issue. They have a 30 day return policy,so keep your receipt and that packaging and give it a shot IMHO.

Long ago I worked at Radio Shack (I'm talking like 1989 and 90) We sold a ton of them and they really do work pretty well. When you split your cable off that many times it weakens the signal and the amp helps keep all the splits as strong as the original line.

Try to get higher-quality and properly shielded cable, it sounds like you are having a major bleed issue.

it sounds like it can help you as you already checked the signal that is coming in, try it and return it if it doesnt work...
