Apparently blind people claim that websites are covered by the Americans With Disabilities Act. They found a judge that agrees.

This is downright silly. Blind people cannot see. While I'm sure in some cases they can use computers, I'm pretty confident they cannot use Yahoo or Google.

Blind people use software that enables them to view websites and work on computers. Some are voice oriented for those with total blindness, others magnify images on the computer for those that are only partially blind. Because of that, I have absolutely no idea how they could sue anyone.

Fuck. I could sue every software and computer company out there. Woohoo. Pay day!

people who are classified as blind sometimes are not entirely blind. I am about 70% blind in my right eye and sometimes have problems with my left. But I wouldnt sue any website for this. It is my own personal hell.

They have software that reads the pages out loud if the page is coded right.

Every site I have ever designed complies. Been a selling point for years to my clients.
