calling all tgp/mgp owners..
 

i want to build a huge list of galleries to begin jump-starting the tgp/mgpfeed project. i'm asking for public approval from various tgp/mgp site owners to allow me to grab a small amount of the galleries from your site on a daily basis. with a huge sampling pool, it will not look like your site has been ripped off.

it's a great selling point for gallery submitters. for you site owners, i might have something worthwhile for you soon depending on the outcome of this project.

so please, post your tgp or mgp site url with a "yay" (no need for "nay") allowing me to grab your galleries. i know some people are sensative about this, and others don't care, so i want to ask permission before treading on anyone's feet! thanks.

Go for it, If you can also figure out a way to grab all the stuff in my queqe (like an AGP add on) that will grab galleries, I'd gladly give you the 2500 in the queqe :)

problem is i want a list of galleries :) not just a random link..

are these updated anytime? or just "whenever i feel like adding some more to the .txt file" ?

If a tgp displays more then 1 link per category (they all do) it looks very lame if you use the same link.

Once the surfer figures out they just click 1 link and it keeps spitting out new galleries they will click it on it awhile.
Now tomorrow comes and they have already seen half the links.
Where is the update?

I don't want to knock your idea but no serious tgp owner would use a gallery pool that is based on a random link.

the site says it sets a cookie to remember. sounds like that C program someone just created recently. too much GFY = bad on the memory, i forget who now!

oh yeah, hey man. i remember you. thanks for submitting. the project has been slightly delayed due to lack of galleries and sites to use it. so what i'm actually going to do is invent a site that uses it, along with supply more galleries to the engine.

i believe you said your galleries were perm, so they'll be approved in time :)

if the system starts becoming used, i will beef up all the functionality, much better site adding/updating interface, things like that.

MIke 503, yeah that was my script in C that uses cookies man, You can even set the cookie expire time yourself, it is thru with beta testing and is ready to go.

I see that a lot of guys with gallery databases posting in this thread are using my php version of this script. If you guys like the php version, you will love this new C version. No, it is not cheap, but it will reduce your server load like you would not believe. It requires no mysql at all.

unlike most people i am the only one
that allows you to grab single gallieries from different niches

if the script and server is fast then surfers won't notice thats its the same url,,,,

its all bout numbers,,, if you have over 2000 galleries it will a take a surfer a month to see all of them

i'm not looking for random gallery links :) i'm looking for large numbers of actual galleries.

I have 800 static ARS galleries at http://www.b55.net/

150 picture galleries for recurring programs such as KARUPSPC.com and 1BY-DAY.com coming 7/15/2002, 200 picture and movie galleries for recurring AVS ProAdult on 7/18/2002.

300 picture galleries for an established per-signup program (not ARS) within 10-15 days.
