- Traffic Leaks ....I see this over and over again... sometimes you have to ask was it done on purpose or is the program completely .... "doesnt know wtf they are doing"

Yeah.. you mean like how the NATs code is missing on the Tour links on HolyMILF? Have your designer fix the last page of that tour and get us more FHGs for that site and the mom site.. Need 30+ for each dude. pic and vid galleries.

Shut down your site and redirect the traffic to another one without notifying affiliates or giving credit.

going to join page and the back button causes 2 pop ups and changes link codes on console free links.

just found this on a big site.

It's so fucking easy to "shave" affiliate traffic and sales with everyone using FHGs these days.. And when someone catches you, you just say it was a programming error.

heres my classic example.

im converting this traffic 1:200 with sponsor a
sponsor b convinces me to try em out
i convert the same traffic 1:400 with sponsor b
now.. ive got to keep sending traffic and lose money to make min payout, or just accept that ive lost what ive put in and cut the lose there

i can not control them at that point. all i can do is provide an adult with a credit card intrested in seein cams. hell, to the point they are willing to drop a buck or more to access the site.

it is NOT my responsibilty to upsale them. its the sponsors. i have no control on the back end, if i did then it might be a diff story..

and alot of companys know this.. all of a sudden a non console link pops up an over, an under and 3 exits..

This isn't really a scam or a trick because I know they're doing it with good intentions, but...

Solo girl sites using NATS. Now I like NATS so don't get me wrong. But we have all of these little "programs" with just a few solo girl sites, maybe even just one, and they setup NATS. My problem is now instead of getting my easy CCBill check weekly with ALL of my monies, I have to hit the $50 minimum with each and every "program". Maybe I just really suck, but hitting $50 for each and every one of those individual solo girl sites is a huge pain in the ass.

I probably have $500 sitting in various solo girl programs that I'll never get because let's face it, the girl will get pissy within 6 months and want her site taken down which closes the program.

Argh. Nature of the beast.

Traffic leaks is my number one pet peeve. This particular website today was pissed bc. I wouldn't review them bc. of a major traffic leak.

I've also had some webmaster referrals stolen from me from a company that's skinned GFY.

Buy traffic from zango and other spyware companies.. cough cough AFF, Cams and Sexsearch..

The one month non-recurring billing option on revshare sites. Specifically, sites that otherwise rebill very well. The way this method of defrauding affiliates works is the surfer picks non-recurring over recurring, and the affiliate gets their one time cut. Since the site is so good the surfer does a rejoin shortly after his membership ends, and the affiliate doesn't get credit for this.

I won't name names, but on another board someone with a site that does this let it slip that "most" surfers who sign up for non-recurring sign right back up again at the end of the month.

I absolutely refuse to send traffic to such sponsors, and it's something affiliates really need to keep an eye on.

Losing the affiliate code on the way around... like making your tour echo the code on every link to make sure, but then either having the code missing from some links, or worse, replaced by another code.

Not having a good enough tracking system to know where sales come from.

Counting only 10% of the hits, claiming it is second page uniques or some other bullshit excuse.

Not knowing the difference between a blank day (no traffic) and zeros (the shaving machine rounded down).

Raising your payouts through the roof while actively limiting the chances that your affiliates can make a sale.

Adding links off, leaks, email collection, and other nice features to your tour without notification, but then sending out an urgent email when you update the wording on a tour from "fuck her" to "have sex with her".

Adding a whole pile of galleries, and then pulling them all down 1 week later.

Moving from XXX stats to NATS and not providing proper old code following / conversion.

Using the processors 5 year old tracking system instead of investing in NATS or MPA or whatever it is you like.

Redesigning your affiliate site 10 times, but never bothering to issue a single new banner or promotional tool in the same time period.

Making your hosted gallery codes incomaptible with default settings on popular TGP software.

2257 links on fhg's which lead to a page that has in bold "CLICK FOR FREE PORN!" right at the top.
Of course you don't get any credit for that page.

Changing link codes on webmasters, or discontinuing a website and sending all traffic to an alternate with our WM code stripped.

You don't have to bet parts of your body, it's actually pretty easy. I can set this up in a few hours.

The point is not whether it's technically possible, it's whether the sponsor program has business ethics and is trustworthy.
