Netverifier no longer a traditional AVS?
They don't link to sites or accept new sites anymore. I'm not sure when this happened. So in the realm of traditional AVS's that are left, the list is dwindling. Do you think Cyberage or Proadult will follow soon?
Are there any others besides Cyberage and Proadult with premium recurring? |
I'm pretty sure Universal Pass has recurring premium like 'the good ole days'
|
the end of AVS is near
|
Guys just to update you on what we are up to here at ProAdult. Our stats are being revamped and a fresh design is underway once again for ProAdult. Also we are working on finishing our Live Cam system which will be plugged into Proadult for upsells where it will be pushed through the voyeurweb and redclouds. We have major developements going on for PA and dopnt plan on going anywhere. So as Nader would put it, Bring It!

Good to hear from ProAdult :)

I wish we were back in 1998 again.. toss up 10 gold sites on AC and take home 10k a month, only problems we had were bitching to Edison and the rest of the bastards at AC they weren't accepting enough of our sites.

The traditional avs is still a viable model and will always be. CA and PA will not follow because there is no place to follow. The real problem is this. FREE stuff. So many webmasters cant handle the loss of traffic so they saturate the net with free stuff. That and redirects, scripts etc waters down the real profits. So many high schoolers and college freshman operate adult websites because they can manipulate htlm, we have tons of adult websites messing up the profit margins. They are happy to make their hosting costs, but their stuff hurts the businessman. There are only 3 methods of getting adult stuff. Paysites AVS Freebies AVS are now large Paysites Paysites have to be mega to work. Freebies are what the whole internet adult biz is all about to the surfers. To us, getting paid from this affiliate program, or this avs is the battle. I trust NV because they have always been on time, paid well and as trustworthy as one can get in this adult world. Someone posted that the days of making websites for AC gold were good. Sure, it was, but the mentality of making websites by the dozen is what makes it all so harried. So few concentrate on making few real high quality websites. The more stuff you throw at the wall, the hopes are that some of it sticks. The original post was simply 100 percent inaccurate. Nothing mentioned was right. NV, PA CA are here to stay. |
8thMan.. I have an email from them explaining their new direction. You may not be affected by it because you're already an NV webmaster.
Ask them yourself. |
I believe ya. I have not heard of anything but that means nothing.
After your post, I simply went thru the motions and I saw links to join their program etc. Thats why I posted they accept new stuff. Regardless, having dealt with almost all the avs people over the years, I trust NV. I trust CA but never make money with them. PA when they decide to send out the checks. :) If it is not asking too much, would you mind posting they content of the email so us less informed can be more informed. You do have my interest now. Thanks |
There wasn't much to it.
I asked them how to add sites. They replied that they no longer do that, and are running like a normal paysite. Her name was Lisa Lowrey. |
Often this is a wierd business. In most industries, when the biggest player drops out, you would expect to see others jostling to pick up their trade. When AC ripped off most of their webmasters, NV and CA seemed to take it as a signal not to bother any more either and just coast along on their momentum.

I know that in my particular case, NV got a vast majority of my members. When I moved to NV, I had instant recovery that showed a fast and steady increase to a decent and close to AC payout. I bet that happened to alot of ripped off by AC webmasters. I am also sure NV bottom line increased nicely. At least I hope so. They weathered it out vs coast I think. CA, well I have no idea, but they have never made me much for similar everything. I just wish there were less kiddies out pumping out websites and flooding the market with free stuff hoping for a 200.00 month with clicks and stuff. In fact I would wager, even though not verifiable, that the average for adult website operators is 17 yrs old. |

AVS is here to stay. The industry can not handle alot of them. This is why so many go under.
NetVerifier makes the most money for their webmasters. Pro Adult makes the second most. CyberAge third. The rest are questionable. Adult Czeck got greedy and ripped others off. AVS is here to stay. As long as there are nudes online, AVS will be viable. My Non scientific opinion. I do not have real facts to base the above ratings on. But I believe strongly that AVS go hand in hand with Adult Sites. |

I still use avs these days but no where near as much as I use to. I use Netverifier, they are one of the good ones left, so natrually I was sad to see they are going in the direction of commercial sponsorship sites. If they drop my sites, I won't waste my time pimping their shit, it's just like every one's shit. There will never be a end to AVS. It's a great conceipt. Yes it has it's problems, so you deal with them. There are still a few good avs out there, but notice they all seem to be pushing their own commercial sponsorships in addition to the avs? Nothing wrong with that, as long as they keep accepting our avs sites. HEY NETV if you read this, your heading down a very saturated road! Better hang on to the avs portion too ;) |
I wonder how SPP is doing... Baddog?
