Everyone say hello to Lola...
 

Lola is my girlfriend and I's new baby boa. She's about 3 months old and we got her yesterday. She's spent the whole morning on my shoulders, wrapped around the back of my neck but was completely entranced by GFY and couldn't stay off the monitor.

never understood why people get snakes as pets. is it for shock value?

Snakes are affectionate, they're low-maintenance. They're fantastic pets. Take that from somebody who's had dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, reptiles of several varieties, spiders, a monkey...oh God, this list could get long...just trust me.

She is very cute but for now i prefer dogs.

I can't imagine having that creature as a pet and letting it roam around my house. :(

mine likes to wrap himself around my head and in my hair.. then kisses my neck and ear.. tickles and sometimes a bit unnerving...they give great neck massages.

When he was smaller he liked to hang out inside my sleeve..he is getting too big to do that anymore
