MySQL Help needed
ok i have mysql backup from one of my blogs
i want to use this mysql backup on another domain so it's pretty much identical to the site that was backedup one problem, when i import the mysql tables, the links on the categories, posts, etc. links to the original domain from which it came. is there a way i can edit the domain so it'll link to the new domain that I imported the mysql tables to? any help appreciated |

well doh what am i thinking, if you have a unix server do this
try this, (untested) perl -pi.bak -e 's#http://www.domain.com#http://newdomain.com#g' file.sql your sql dump file is just a text file, so if no unix, use any search,replace text editor |
