I have this deep odd craving...
 

For a really massive take home salad from some salad bar. Yeah I do not care if people touched it, or sneezed on it, or whatever.

I need one that offers like thirty plus different things, and NO! Mellon chunks, cottage cheese, pasta salad, bean salad, strawberries, and the like are not items. They are separate dishes damn it.

They must offer the very large to go containers as well, styrofoam square style would be nice.

I just either do not know of any good places off hand or I they do not exist in my area. :mad: The few around here are always missing key items that I like. Like one place will have real bacon bits yet not have any kidney beans or beats, or another will have real bacon but no cheese or nuts etc.

Well damn it, guess it is just pasta tonight.

In truth, a chef or kitchen worker at any restaurant could sneeze all over your food back there in the kitchen. At least most of those hog-trough salad bars have glass sneeze guards over them. (at least most of them do here)

But there's this place near me called Santa Lucia Pizza, they have greek and Italian food....... and a chef's salad to die for. It's huge and has everything in it... tomatoes, cucumbers, tons of shredded cheese, onion, big chuncks of roasted turkey (the real deal, not that processed sliced shit you put on sandwiches), a mix of lettuce and romain lettuce, all fresh as hell. And they make their own dressing there too, their honey dill cucumber is just incredible.

You could eat the whole thing if that's the only thing you ordered, but you better be damn hungry.

Grocery stores usually have a nice soup and salad bar. I've made a meal at them many a time.

I was looking for a bento box, it couldn't be pinku (thats japanese for pink) or any girl color. It had to be of 2 or more kotoba (thats japanese for 2 compartments) and had be be chibi (small) sized. And had to be really kawaii (cute). Also It had to be about 10-20 bux. And the seller had to post pics of it first (i wanted to make shure it was kawaii [cute]). And it would have been nice if it came with matching chopstick holder (WITH chopsticks). OH! and it CANNOT have had any cartoon pictures, or been made out of plastic. It has to be made of ceramic, or something like that. Also it would have been nice if it was made in japan. and not in china or corea (korea) or whatever. I had found a bento box similar to the one im describing in e-bay, but it was 1 kotoba, and i didnt want my gohan (rice) to touch my other things (it can get wet and i would not like that, plus 2 compartments looks more kawaii).

there's a salad bar at my shop (about 1 minute walking) but right now I'm off to buy a pie and a paper from the BP garage. It's not even 6 am and I woke up with pie on my mind
