Rock Climbing at Valley of Fire *pics*
Went camping this weekend at Valley of Fire. It's less than an hour away from Vegas, and kicks ass. Had to show off some fun pics, this place is a must for anyone who likes to hike. I've been tempted to set up a mini-gathering for people who want to spend a weekend in the desert, the weather is perfect right now!

I once did some climbing out at Red Rocks I think it was called. One of the climbs was "Prince of Darkness" A great part of the world. |

I have been to the Valley of Fire and it is breathtaking to say the least. You really must be there to enjoy the beauty of it.....it's unimagineable...:winkwink:

very nice ... I've always wanted to go there .. closest I've been is Red Rock (i think that was the name) in Vegas ..15-20 Min's from the strip .. it was nice but not that nice ..

Wow.. How'd you scale that rock with no gear? It looks pretty fucking steep. I'd love to go camping there, but I don't think I'm much of a climber. :(

Great pics Zoe, it's beautiful time of the year in the desert, not too cold, not too hot. Now do me a favor and stop posting all this great shit about Vegas. I keep kicking myself in the ass because I never made the time to do any of it and lived there 6 years.
