Canadian ISP's

Now the Sympatico is putting the 5gb bandwidth transfer per month, and Rogers is going to put a limit in September, what are you guys switching to?

Also, when buying a DSL modem, any particular one to look out for?

Thanks

Each site you visit is going to count towards a bandwidth quota?
Is this change coming to all of Canada & the US or just a few companies?
I would assume something that drastic would hit the news, but I've yet to hear about it until now.

It's already been added to Sympatico (Canada) if you haven't heard about it, it's probably because it hasn't happend in your area yet (or will not happen). There are still places that allow unlimited bandwidth, but some are capping it at 5gb, 10gb etc.

And I believe it's each site, download, upload, etc. I know Sympatico and Rogers are doing it in Canada.

How much bandwidth would playing a few hours of counter-strike burn?

No clue, where are you located? Better to just switch to unlimited and not worry about it, especially if you have different people using the Internet, which is most often the case.

What about Videotron ???
They have a 40GB limit now - did somebody hear anything???
