Hey Fletch - As far as I know, the Coke company has only released Vanilla Coke in a limited amount of areas as they are still in the "test marketing" process with it. If you go here , you can find a list of places where it's available in the US so far. Hope this helps ya out. :)

Fawwwk, do you work for Coke or something? ;P It's readily available all over Toronto here.. No idea why they'd let us measly Canadians get something first.. EH FLETCH?!

Live for Vanilla Coke. Worship it as your new God.

The personal reviews I've read about vanilla coke have been pretty bad so far. Today I bought a case of cans, and just cracked the first one a little while ago to drink with my barbecue burgers. It's pretty sweet, but I then mixed it with vodka in a frozen mug and I must say it's pretty good as a cooler. :D

I still prefer code red (and vodka).

Vanilla coke is best when flat, chilled, and mixed on the rocks in a 1:1 ratio with Stoli black label.

Otherwise, stay away.

I'm not married, and any woman in my house happily drinks whatever I give her. <table BORDER=0 CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=5 COLS=2 WIDTH="300"><tr><td>

vanilla coke is horrid!

Jamdin 07-05-2002 07:31 PM

Vanilla Coke hit Kansas about a month ago. My mom loves it but I can take it or leave it. It is much better half-frozen in my opinion...

Slick 07-05-2002 07:53 PM

Vanilla Coke isn't too bad. I'm in the middle of nowhere in Michigan here and I can buy it :)

It's just like drinking a Coke Ice Cream Float, but without the ice cream, ha ha ha.

i never tried vinilla coke flat.. maybe i will later on

Buba_Smith2 07-06-2002 01:06 AM

vanilla coke is in the US and just recently, Canada. Again, it's just being test-marketed. It tastes good and it makes the BEST Rye n Cokes ever! (Use Crown Royal and never trust american booze :thefinger )

Hey, A&W root beer and vodka is another of my favs.

As for Crown Royal and vanilla coke..... c'mon, give me a break. There are some things even I won't do, and ruining the taste of the smoothest rye-whiskey in the world is one of them.

Rocky 07-06-2002 10:17 AM

it tastes like cough syrup mixed with pure vanilla extract

it smells like a sumo wrestlers crack with a hint of axle grease

Did you at least get some digital stills? You know, of when you were smelling a large japanese man's bung after the lube job. Don't tell me you had no cameras running.

I hope the diet version comes out soon. As a diabetic, I really can't use the "regular" version, but I remember fondly the flavored Cokes of my youth: lime, cherry, vanilla, and chocolage Cokes were my faves. It's hard to find a classic soda bar with all the flavored syrups anymore.
