Why don't sponsors offer this?
 

Are there any sponsors that offer DERIVATIVE CONTENT rights to affiliates? Basically, the sponsor still owns the underlying copyright but they give their affiliates rights to alter the content to make YOUTUBE like parody videos. Of course, the sponsors would protect themselves by requiring their WATERMARKS to survive the alteration.

Areas where this kind of promo tool could do well:

nonconventional porn blogs -- sex parody, joke sex blogs, "ribald" blogs

What do you guys think?

Could work, traffic is king so where ever u can get it in a decent volume it's worth trying

I think sites stocked with these 'derivative' content would have a better chance of migrating the whole YOUTUBE concept to adult. The alternative would just result in a choice between tight rights control and low traffic and piracy and high traffic. This MIGHT be a good middle ground.

This would also appeal to video webmasters that focus on the QUALITY of their traffic in addition to its quantity.

After a little bit of research, it appears TCG has something along these lines. You have to clear it with them first though (but they have a database of content available for webmaster tweaking...primarily for TGPs/MGPs but it can be applied to the concept I mentioned in the first post of this thread).
