My Ad-Aware think ccbill.com are hijack attempt

I have just found out that Ad-Aware "thinks" these url's in my favorites are possible hijack attempts: ????
https://bill.ccbill.com/jpost/signup.cgi
https://affiliateadmin.ccbill.com/
http://www.ccbill.com
...all with ccbill....hmm

who would ever signup for a ccbill site with hijack notifications on it?

Why is it hijack attempt?...a bug or?

Confirmed.

when you run ad-aware, those return as hijack attempts? out of how many total, in my experience those type of products normally overextend the real risks in order to show how useful their product is by its ability to find X,XXX # of issues

not positive exactly how ad aware works, does it run in the background and if one of those urls are visited, then it sends out an alert? or just those bookmark files when you run it periodically?

Angel and I investigated this today. I originally found that AdAware flagged it the other night when I was scanning my system.

No idea why it would show up like this except for possibly the type of tracking, etc they use. Regardless, one has to wonder if it affects ccbill signups (if it alerts at ALL to the regular user when surfing).

Who knows... regardless, its suspicious and odd.

the url's was in my bookmarks (favorites list) Ad-aware says its hijack attempt and wanted to remove them,

I dont know if surfers add signup url's to their bookies to signup after supper or something and in between their ad-aware runs and delete it....or they run Ad-aware before and notice its hijack attempt and gets scared away

sure, i agree, well check it out, but if it was happening, it would be much more prevalent for webmasters (affiliteadmin.ccbill.com, admin.ccbill.com, etc) than surfers. On the surface, if its happening on the consumer end, it would appear to be an issue with the surfer that decides to save a signup link as a favorite, has adaware, runs adaware between the time that they save the link and the time they expect to signup at the link, and only the ones that decide to delete those links out.
