    Flash is going to make me go INSANE...

    Just needed to vent that. I thought I was a pretty sharp guy, but Flash is making my brain hurt!

          I had it for a long time, every now and again I try to make a flash movie then I end up giving up, graphics just isn't my thing

                                  OK, I actually have made some progress, but I'm not 100% sure I did it the easy way...Is there a way to tween text and scale the text without converting each letter to a symbol? Which is how I assume most people create text effects?

                                  I would try just converting a whole word, but when I would tween it all but 1 letter would drop out, so I would have to convert each letter to a symbol and that just slowed the process wayyy down...

                                      If it is just texteffects you are after, Swish might do the job, if not .. Flash does take a lot of time and the most time consuming solution is - unfortunately - often the right one.

                                      Not sure what it is what you exactly need though.

                                          If you're looking for text effects you will find them on
                                          http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Effec...ects/index.php

                                          Your problem can be solved easily by using actionscript. There are mny good examples on Flashkit and all you have to do is modify the type of movement of one letter and the variable that specifies the text that will show.

                                              And what's the point anyway? Surfers HATE flash.
                                              SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
