WARNING: Biz Thread - Conversion Rates by Country

I was wondering if any sponsors would be willing to share the differences in conversion rates from one country to another. I don't need exact numbers or anything, just to know what traffic is on par with US conversions and which traffic is horrible at converting. I've been looking to redirect some traffic based on geography, and wondering what most of the sponsors view as good traffic countries and bad traffic countries.

i'd love to see some info on this..

it definitely will vary niche to niche though, as some niches are more taboo in certain countries.

i saw some vague data on it a year ago or so, and a couple of the EU countries were converting twice as good as the US' traffic. no idea how reliable that data is

Obviously the USA is great, it depends upon your niches however Netherlands, Italy, France, UK Denmark and Germany are all European countries that have similar conversion ratios that fluctuate but our ver similar and very good. However the USA does convert the best!

Whats just as important is which countries reccur and rebill and we are rebilling appx 48% this month! :)

It does depend on your niches. I know for some stuff certain EU countries convert much better than the US. Germany, Austria and UK come to mind.

Not even sure they exist on our system and I think it would change site to site and niche to niche.

It can help in a lot of ways, especially those who do PPC. You can add/subtract countries from your campaigns and sometimes its nice to know which countries are a waste of time and which ones actually do well.

Do you sponsors have similar conversion rates from Canada as they do the US for instance?

That would be very interesting to hear!
