    so.... saddam is caught cuz of genocide right?

    he killed alot of civilians with bio warfare....

    but hey, bush killed alot of civilians with old fashioned bombs...

    so i guess when saddam gets the death penalty, bush gets it too? No? Why not?
    Damn, im curious of some of the explanations of the bush supportors.... "bush didnt kill so MUCH civilians.... yea he killed SOME but not so MUCH, so its allright."

              As fucked up as it would be, the best thing the US could do for Iraq right now is put Saddam back in power.

              The country would be back to the way it was in a few days and every inch of the country would be under firm control and stabilized again.

              Sounds crazy, but the alternative when this current Iraq government collapses and the US is long gone will be even more horrible.

                          Now you can see why Saddam was so tough. how else do you keep the lid down on the Iraqis. The US and UK are totally at a loss to do it.

                                      All the US really cares about in Iraq is maintaining deals for the US oil companies and the lucrative defense contracts. Saddam would surely do a covert deal on those in exchange for his freedom and restoration to power. He's learned his lesson now, and the real terrorizers which were his sons are gone, so he'd probably come back a bit milder than he was in terms of agression.

                                                  Hmmm, I think you're wrong on this one, what it was "before" was actually all the power (political, military etc) concentrated in the hands of the sunnis. Right now the Shiites and the Kurds also have weapons, trained soldiers/policemen etc so going back to what it used to be wouldn't be that simple.


                                                  And btw I absolutely agree that Bush has to pay for his war crimes too! Is it going to happen? Don't think so.
