Youtube removes 30,000 files after Japan's entertainment industry complains - now will the US entertainment do the same or does the exposure on Youtube help more than hinder them?

personally I hope YouTube removes any and all "crap" from the site, YouTube is a killer place to market your stuff, but it's hard to get proper views to your stuff when there's 10,000 tv and movie clips all around the place.

I've lurked there since they opened up, and over the last 4 months I became an "active member" I watch these "kids" come in make daily video blogs and within a week or so some of them have a daily viewing audience of 18,000 people and each video gets 100's and sometimes 1,000's of comments.

Now just think if one of these "kids" had an incling about marketing lol

YouTube needs to clean out the crap and keep it selfmade content like it was at the start.

What all will they allow as far as adult type content?

Only time will tell. But I tend to think that with Googles legal team, they probably really thought this through.
