I need my files back... :(

My damn computer at home was reformatted and I lost all the files. Is there still a way i could get them back? I'm kinda hopeless but I need my files cuz my daughter's pictures since she was born 'til her first day in school are all there.

Anyone please help me.. :(

search for data recovery programs online

my friend had to do it for his girl
and he was able to recover all the pictures she lost

not hard to do

i remember using some recovery program and it worked quite well, just look around at download.com and check the reviews...it highly probable that you may recover some of it...

Most of those recovery programs are pretty good but you won't get very far depending if the data has been overwritten or not. If the pictures are really that important to you and you have no success yourself (do not install ANYTHING on the drive in question, only mount it as a slave, do not let any files be written to it period) you need to contact a professional recovery service. They charge a LOT for their services (some upwards to $500 an hour) but it is worth it to get memories back.

Try out Final Data Pro and as mentioned in another reply, in no way
write any data to the drive that contained the data.

It takes a long time but, it has always done the trick for me. Also if you did a low level format,
then don't waste your time since all the data is
gone forever.
