Compressing animated gifs
I have a 70KB animated GIF that is 3 frames long. Is there anyway I can compress it?
You need to compress each seperate frame then put the image back together.
And how can I do that? I made the animated gif in Premiere.
Download a gif animation program and open your gif in the program.
The program should display all frames and you could then save them. Fire up your gif compression program and reduce the size of each frame 1 at a time. Then insert the frames back in your animation program and setup the timer & all that. I've done it before but can't remember the program used. |
OK thanks ;)

... fireworks does that on the fly .. no need to alter each image seperatly ... saves time and hassles ... but itīs not free !!
If you need to do this often then buy a program. If this is just a 1 time job, then hit tucows.com and you can find some 30-day trial programs to handle your task.
