im pretty positive you guys are listening to Johnny Rebel...a lot of people mistake his voice for Johnny Cash for some reason...totally different person...

Ah.. the ol' rodeo song... We used to do that one if the crowd was in a rare frame of mind.. :)

not sure if you were being a smartass or not but there were the "Underground" and "Nothing Sacred" albums that were never "officially released" even though you can buy them off his website...

he never plays those songs live though...he also has tried to cover up the fact that he was serious by claiming the songs were co-written by Charley Pride (who is black) but that has never been confirmed...i don't but that one bit...at the time the songs were written he was a patch wearing member of the Outlaws MC...im pretty sure he knew who was going to be into those songs at that time...

a lot of people also claim that DAC was actually Johnny Rebel...they dont ever sound alike at all...oh well...let the legend carry on i suppose...

Toured for 5... Settled in as a house band for a couple years, then went with a country entertainer for about a year, then left and went to Pensacola... back to the house band stuff.. Been out of it all for several years..

I didn't know he actually had an underground album...most of his normal stuff is bad enough...a buddy of mine did Karaoke of "If that ain't country" at the NCO club at the Air Force base we were stationed at and it was the classic "record skip"
