Why is this board so fucking slow? I though TexasDream fixed it?

I wondered the same thing. Maybe it's getting more traffic? Maybe the new vbulletin is worse than the previous one, on system resources.

There are boards several times bigger than GFY and working fine.

TD obviously doesn't know wtf he's doing.

For the last couple of weeks I keep seeing major latency problems and errors with AT&T, Cogent, Level3, NTT, Qwest, SBC, Sprint, and Verizon. Nothing I can do when the backbone providers are going out.

We're noticing a huge problem as well.. a tech from Webair told me that the "global" net was hit hard today, especially the US. :(

the board has been way faster even with the net hiccups for me in s.f. on verizon.
