OJ Simpson Confesses To Killing Nicole And Ron Goldman In New Book

Quote:

The early part of the book tells how Simpson fell in love with Nicole and how the marriage collapsed, reports the tab. He goes on, according to the article, to describe in gruesome detail the killing of his ex-wife and Goldman; he stipulates that the murder scenes are “hypothetical.” But, notes the tab, the descriptions are “so detailed and so chillingly realistic” that readers are left with little doubt as to what really happened.

Simpson can never be retried for the murders because of double jeopardy laws.
"Hypothetically" :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

BTW: He got paid $3.5 million to write the book.

What a fucking piece of shit. The poor families of the victims are having shit rubbed in their nose by this asshat. It's sick.

Tom_PM 10-19-2006 12:29 PM

Hell at this point, he could go on international TV and say "I killed them both" and he couldnt be prosecuted for it..

SweetJeanette 10-19-2006 12:29 PM

Stuff like this makes me sick to my stomach...I can't believe he got away with it in the first place. So sad...

TroubleTonya 10-19-2006 12:30 PM

:2 cents: What a motherfucker! I was in shock when they didn't find him guilty. Although to be the devils advocate, he was in court and did see all the pictures of the crime scene so his descriptions could be from that. He needed to make that money to pay the goldmans family for the private wrongful death suit they put against him. I hope they get a huge cut of his book money. He needs to :321GFY muahaha!

JUSTB 10-19-2006 12:32 PM

at least the families can get the book money

Read this part of the article for fun. I'm just stunned by this whole thing:

Simpson aims to keep any book money instead of paying it out in a civil suit judgment against him by spending it all quickly.

I dont think they are entitled to any of it, since he wrote it in Florida, and the judgement is against him in California.

He was a damn fine athlete though.

JaneB 10-19-2006 06:51 PM

He does owe the family victims money, so I doubt that he kept the cash from this book. I think he owes them like $32 million. It also does not matter what state the book was wrote in. The judgement is against him, so he will have to pay no matter where he lives or works.

Damian_Maxcash 10-19-2006 06:55 PM

They just changed the double jeopardy laws here - people that confessed to crimes are getting seriousy owned.

notabook 10-19-2006 07:03 PM

If only he would have been found guilty then truly innocent men such as Scott Peterson could have had a chance in the judicial system… /sighs

woj 10-19-2006 07:05 PM

That's what I thought too..it's still a judgement?

Sly 10-19-2006 07:12 PM

Even though double jeopardy may prevent him from being charged with the murder... making that confession is really really stupid. It wouldn't surprise me if they try charging him with something else now, unless he really thought it through and waited til statute of limitations are up on anything he could have been charged with.

If my father had my mother killed in cold blood and got away with it I think I'd have him killed.

dissipate 10-19-2006 07:17 PM

I dont think that anyone ever had a doubt that he did it.

Masterchief 10-19-2006 07:20 PM

FYI Idiots, OJ was not guilty.

All that most of you all know is what the news tells you...so in other words you don't know SHIT about the case. It's a known fact that Nicole was highly involved in the mafia and others involved in the drug trade. Nicole and Ron just simply played with fire and got caught up with an innocent guy (OJ) getting stuck in the middle of it :2 cents:

Hammer 10-19-2006 07:21 PM

Did any of you notice that this was in the 'gossip' column and quotng from the National Enquirer? You know, the same magazine that reports on alien abductions and 2 headed babies.

It's only idiotic if you're dumber than he is. :1orglaugh

Jugments in one state are not enforceable in another state. That's why a state has to petition for extradition of a criminal. The other state can refuse to prosecute the fugitive and also refuse to turn him over to the other state.

It just doesn't happen in most cases because all states want justice and they want the favor returned to them when they are trying to catch a fugitive.

Get a drunk driving conviction in one state and in most cases you can go to the next state and get a clean drivers lisence. (some states have agreements to stop this but they are in the minority)

The judgement has to be in "Federal Court" to be enforced across state lines.

Ever see the movie "The Onion Field"...Cool movie about murderers fucking up bad because the didn't understand laws about crossing state lines.
It's a true story too.

interracialtoons 10-19-2006 08:13 PM

PS: James Woods stars in the Onion Field

Yes he did. However as a juror I might have found reasonable doubt myself. I wouldn't have found him innocent. But I damn sure would be full of doubt.

Jurors were sequestered 265 days.
They listened to 8 days of opening/closing arguments.

The PROSECUTION, thru nine different attorneys, for 99 days, presented 72 witnesses, 488 exhibits, and 50,000 pages of court transcripts.

I would have been so confused, bored, horny, sober, angry, worried about personal stuff, ... that yes I would have doubts. 100 days to present their case? And the defense hasn't even started yet!

Two California appeals courts previously ruled DNA evidence is sound; another said there is not enough agreement among scientists to allow DNA tests into evidence. The highest law in the state shows reasonable doubt on the only evidence there really is. Despite this you are forced to sit thru weeks of forensic instruction and presentation.

265 days away from family/friends/sex. The state paying me 5 dollars a day! Will I still have a job? Will I remember how to do my job? Am I financially ruined?

He was not innocent. Reasonable doubt was everywhere ... not guilty.

OJ killed his wife? What are you going to tell us next, that even after a jury found Michael Jackson not guilty, that he's actually into kids?

Let's not make this about race, Robert Blake was also found not guilty in his trial for murdering his wife, despite pretty compelling evidence and testimony which suggested otherwise.

And now, since Kenneth Lay was found guilty of numerous charges in the Enron case, the people that he ripped off cannot collect a dime, because the Judge vacated his sentence after Lay died from a heart attack.

The common denominator is not race, but fame, and more importantly, wealth.

Poor people are sentenced to die or sometimes spend decades in prison for crimes they did not commit.

Look at how the Justice Department is attacking the adult industry. There is something terribly wrong with the system.

The National Enquirer is a celebrity gossip rag now, along the lines of People and US Weekly. It's a shame.

Weekly World News is the best bet for the two-headed alien baby goodness now.

So, same results since he was referring to "legal entitlement".

Besides, it's real disappointing the see very few people questioning how a cop (Mark Furhman) discovers one glove at the murder sceen and then one at OJ's house(after being relieved from the case!) all by his lonesome. There are thousands of cops in LA and it was like he was the only one on duty. Then he quits the force before the trial and moves to Idaho(another state...see the connection!), lies in court and gets a felony conviction for perjury etc..etc.. and white people are worshiping him.

What the fuck is that?
