yeah, but i travel alot and want to edit on the road, so thats not going to work.

It will work just as well if not better than any other option. Just don't buy a 4 bay enclosure.

just check newegg for external hdd enclosure, theres 100's of options, put in any hard drive you want.

faster option = external SATA enclosure and pcmcia SATA card for your lappy.
