I've been frustrated with the fact that everybody's hiring out russian programmers at cut-throat rates.. obviously, their standards of living are lower than north american standards.. at least for now... but don't you guys ever stop to think about the impact you have on racial profiling when you post shit like "Fucken Russians" and "I bet they're russian".. or "another russian rip you off?"

Using a Russian webmaster as an example: whenever dealing with a Russian webmaster, I don't automatically trust them. Then, I don't automatically trust anyone when setting up a deal.

Yet... I live in a town with a 40% Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi population, my girlfriend is asian, I have MANY foreign friends - of different religions, etc etc. I live quite happily here... it'd be hell if I were racist.

There are quite a few talented Russian programmers out there. Take the Russian Submitter guys for example. Yeah... I do pay for that every month and use it maybe every few days.

No big deal hiring out Russian programmers. What is the problem with that? This is business, not a morality trip. As for being exploitive - there is a world of difference between child labor in Taiwan, and hiring a Russian programmer.

As far as I'm concerned, business finishes when I step away from the computer. Kids don't get involved in my business. The cheater:honest ratio may be higher when dealing with Russian webmasters - but it DOES NOT mean that, should I happen to meet a Russian guy at the mall one day, I am going to recoil in horror.

There's a good reason webmaster affiliate programs don't pay webmasters from certain countries. They have a high percentage of cheaters. Sure, it's sad for the honest guys there, and it really is a pity.

But people in the adult biz are dealing with rather large amounts of money. They don't have time to have a fucking heart to heart to see if every russian they deal with is a good guy.

They go by their statistics, and their statistics say that russian webmasters are likely to be cheaters.
