    My sister got a ticket for jay walking

    She always told me they took it really serious in Seattle, but I couldn't believe she actually got a ticket for it! She called yesterday morning when she was leaving court, she got out of it because the light was just blinking and she thought she could make it. The judge told her she could let her off this time, but NEVER again! They take that shit serious in Seattle!

      They were doing that in NYC for a while. People started getting so pissed off and annoyed that I think they kind of stopped.

                                  they asked me for the reason
                                  i said "well i am from amsterdam"

                                      ...Being from Seattle I can relate. I've never seen someone get a J-Walking ticket but it sounds about right...

                                      HOWEVER...i must say...its nowhere near as bad as it was where I went to college...BOULDER, CO. Seriously...if you wanted to run for Mayor there...You could win if you made promises for pedestrian rights!
