Best ROI on a sig whore?
 

I think the best ROI on a sig whore on GFY would be squishy. The guy posts 2nd on 95% of all the posts!

His whoreness has reached unheard levels in the last month or so..

The problem with sigs is that everyone knows that sig whores just fly sigs for the few bucks they get paid and that 95% of anything good they may say about the sponsor (or product) in the sig is just a bunch of paid for garbage. :2 cents:

its also about branding. when you scroll down and see that banner time and time again it gets the company name in your head. its not all about the clicks its also about the presence of the companies logo.

The best ROI is from the sig of someone that can contribute something insightful to the business. Not once have I clicked a sig from a 'Would you hit it' thread, or anyone who leaves short, pointless responses. In fact, in most instances I avoid those companies altogether.

i don't click sigs unless they have funny or weird images that link to a url that i see in my status bar on hoverover, that make me wonder wtf is there

it is all about branding your name, show people you are there. It is like a commercial of coca cola. No one is running to shop to buy it after they seen it, but when in need of drink they might buy it. And that is how you gain more customers. Same in the adult biz and webmasters.

It has almost nothing to do with poin on sig. That number is so small most of the time.
