Sony HVRA1U ... Who's got one??
 

I'm presently researching the HVRA1U for an article. I don't get to try one oout for a few more weeks .. However I would love to hear some feed back from Shooters that have this camera and have had actual production experience with it ..

So far my research tells me that the camera desn't represent good Blacks in low light conditions .. and that the manual focus is also a problem ...

WOW! 7 lux, going to need excellent lighting
has lots of other good features though, i like the high res still feature.

i checked prices and found a place selling this camera new for under a grand, most other places are closer to 3k.

UNder a grand?? can you post or ICQ me the link .... Might be the consumer version .. I know sony put out another camera that looks just like it but missing many of the features I want.

I am shopping for the best low light hd camera out there any recommendations ?
