at the bottom of this picture is a mess of brown gunk looking stuff, where the sand is dug out some under the gray rocks. there is a bit of brown algae on the glass even level with the rocks, i cant clean it off at the moment, sorry. both rocks have white sand on them from where the parents dug out the hole earlier

heres a closeup - difficult to focus on the babies very well, my better camera will be available tomorrow.

theres 50+, they will try, i have some screen im going to try and setup to provide better cover, none of the previous batches have made it past a week

would be really hard to at this stage. and it would piss the parents off to the point they might kill the babies. ive added some additional cover. im going to try and divide the tank with a screen too

a lot of other breeds stay closer to the parents longer, these the babies venture out sooner and thats been their downfall on previous batches.
