Recruiters never expect to get people with brains who want to go out and be shot at. You're generally training the lowest of the low.

No one goes into the military expecting to end up on the front line. When you go in you have choices - You can be a cook or motor transport or a something else dull.... Or you can crawl around in the mud, see the world, and blow shit up.

BTW.... In the last major engagement we fought..... Our losses were minimal. The "front line" was so blurred that it didn't matter what were you were dong there; If you were there you were a target.

Go to any boot camp today and remind yourself of the 97% lower-classes who are deeply afflicted, dejected, distressed, repugnant, repulsive, mean, miserable, contemptible, deplorable and delusional. They had nowhere else to go.
