So my 275 gallon oil tank is leaking in my basment.
 

And when I finished the basement a few years ago, I boxed it in behind the wall. Now I got to rip the whole friggin thing out.

On a positive note, I get to use my sledge hammer again:winkwink:

Man that blows. You're going to have to rip up the floor underneath too to get rid of the contaminate

I did put an access door in door in but that has to be ripped out also.

Bummers, never had that happened to me.
but then again I haven't had oil heat in over 25 yrs.

I caught the problem early.

Sludge is leaking form the bottom. The oil guy said the sludge in the bottom of the tank is preventing the rest of the oil from pouring out.

The gas company wants me to pay $6k to bring the line into the neighborhood. But if I get 6 of my neighbors to sign up,,I'll get it for free.

I gave them the GFY salute.
