I heard when PS2 came out, sadam over there in Iraq bought a shit load of them because of computer technology, didn't make sense to me. Is there any truth to this?
|
Yes there is...ps2 is also a very powerfull system. It uses RISC
processors similar to SUN. There is now an export stop on game consoles to Iraq. PS2 can easily be used for guided missile launchers etc, etc. There is a 200.000 euro reward for the first person who develops a linux version which is able to work on Xbox....they would be perfect to be used as cheap powerfull webservers. http://xbox-linux.sourceforge.net/ DynaMite |

We play video games with the same technology they use for weapons. Tell me we are not more advanced by far. |
Shit, I can just see some raghead on the back of a camel guiding a missile with the gamepad off a ps2!! :1orglaugh

Since the XBOX is based on Windows XP and is a MS product which will soon be connected to the net via broadband, I'm surprised no one has mentioned or made jokes about how many viruses and other problems this unit is sure to develop in the very near future.
Its not like its taken long to completely tear the thing apart and start experimenting with it.... :eek7 |
