Because we want that fantasy... but many girls/women are severely depressed and feel inadequate because they can't possibly live up to what they see on magazine covers every single day.

They want so bad to be the cover girl but realistically... even the cover girl doesn't look like the cover girl.

I think more guys should see that actually

Times have changed since the invention of photoshop and airbrushing, poor saps in the past..I sure dont know how they survived without it :1orglaugh

I find it saddening that any woman falls into the trap of feeling inadequate to these altered photos. I guess I have never been very vain and am who I am, no need to wish I was someone else..for it will never be.. waste of time IMO

None of the girls on GFY have had that kind of treatment. PER image that'd take a LOT of work, and money etc... not worth it for porn. But for adverts and stuff especially for cosmetics etc... sure... they do it. Doesn't make them look any hotter, just cleaner and neater. I personally don't think she looks any 'better' after all that shit. I think she looks 'better' after makeup. .. sure... she looks like she's going out on the town or whatever... but the photoshop stuff... fucking unncessary.

okay, i thought she was pretty to begin with..

but am i an asshole because i thought she was prettier at the end? :) it's not anyone's fault that certain things are more pleasing to the eye than others.. btw, interesting shots of britney spears before and after photoshopping.
