I am looking into signing up with zippedsites.com. Has anyone had experience with them. They look like they are pretty good. How exactly does the site work. Do I need my own domain or do they give me one? :helpme

yeah you need your own domain and hosting (though i think they offer a blog hosting service if you wanna do a blog) you just install the script on your webspace, change the design a little to suit your needs, switch on the cache then it's ready to go.

All you've gotta do then is gettin it in the search engines or send visitors over...quick and easy TGP.

Hehe, time to plug my sig. They are really good, you can do self updating TGPs with them, but what I like and use most is the blog plugins. This way I can import sponsor galleries of sponsors that don't offer RSS feeds themselves in my blogs...

Ok, a few general things about blogs and SEO:

1. Most important, for g**gle are incoming links to your site which contain your keywords as anchor text, so trade links, trade links, trade links. Don't do too many direct recip trades, perfer A->B->C triangle trades. This is because all big search engines know that link trades are a popular seo tactic and de-value a link if the spider spots a recip.

2. Forget PR, it's overrated alot. It's nice to trade with a PR5+ site, but if this site has 200+ outgoing links, you profit less from it than if you link is on a PR3 site with just 5 outgoing links.

3. Get plugins that optimize you linking structure, like http://www.thedevproject.com/project...dcrumb-plugin/ and http://www.w-a-s-a-b-i.com/archives/...ed-entries-20/

4. Make permalinks SE friendly: webmaster-q-and-fuckin-a/666494-wordpress-permalink.html

5. Post text with a picture/gallery/gallery link, the more the better. Blogs are great for search engines, but spiders need some food and just a description and a pic aren't enough.

6. If you want first hand information about g**gle, check http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/ Takes a bit to read, but you'll learn alot, no rumors, just hard facts there
