Here are the results of the competition we ran a few weeks ago.

The $500 winner was Lance @ Daintydames.com. His description of our site was super.

Also decided to give $100 of content to Brian @ islandamateur.com for doing a nice job and taking so much care. Not sure if we will be using any of his ideas but he did a good job so we decided to reward him.

No one came up with a design that really worked, which is disappointing as we are thinking about launching a paysite and need the complete package designed. So we did our own.

But any way here are the results, feel free to tell me what you think.

didn?t look at text but the site isn?t optimized for 800x600 and site screws up in NC when browser window resized
there is horizontal scroll bar on some pages even in 1024x768
overall - not good, I predict you?ll have it redesigned again soon

Looks like crap! HUGE scroll bar and your samples blow.
Flash that is difficult to read and not doing much.
Your "quote" Models "quote" are pretty ugly.

If you want a dishonest answer then I'll say:
Your Design is excellent & your models look hot.
