So as most of you know, I was trying to find a solution to get the PS3 pre-order in a few hours.

I figured, why would I wait up until 5am and go wait in the cold for 3-4 hours?

So what did I do?

I spoke to this crazy fucker Madawgz who I KNOW doesnt sleep.

I approach him with a 75$ offer for him to go wait in line for me... rejected
I then offer him 100$, rejected
140$, and he says fine but I also have to pay his taxi.

So I am paying this crazy fucker 180$ for him to go stand outside in the cold (4 degrees celcius for 3-4 hours and preorder me a PS3)

do you guys think I made a good deal? He made a good deal? Or do we both come out winners?

I would do it for the 180 bucks :D Maybe not in the canadian winters tho ;x

It is limit one per household, and yes I can easily see them going for 1200-1400 based on past console sales and limited availability of the PS3 console (less than 400k @ launch in all of north america). Take some mules along with you? I got five for pre-order at ebgames by getting a few friends to come along with me, had to pay one of them 100 bucks to do it and another 50 after I drive them all to pick em? up.

Sorry to say but the chances of him scoring is slim. He'll get a preorder, but you might not get the first batch. There will be employees hustling the ps3s mostly.

Depends on how many employees work at the store but they can do what he suggested. The store I went to was very tiny, they had six available for pre-order and just a couple that work there. I'm hoping I get at least four of the ones I pre-ordered, maybe all five.
