what about trademark and copyright issues?

Well if they want it, they'll get it. I'd see if that is the way that they've been naming previous versions. If it is, you'll probably be asked to give it to them.

Ask for 1000 bucks and get rid of it.

If you can get rid of them for $200, then sell them. "Metal gear solid" is trademarked anyway.

Sell. You will get it taken anyway. It is a trademark.
