Windows Defender vs. WebRoot SpySweeper

I use Ewido from the folks that make the AVG antivirus and back that up with Adaware.

I use both. One may work where the other fails. Just better to be safe than sorry.

I tried spysweeper and it was not bad..Defender was pretty much useless and didn't find instances that my Trend Micro or Bullit proof found

Yep. I'm in the same both. I think I'll follow BusterPorn's advice above and have 2 apps just in case.
