I was just wondering, how much do you think thehun.com is worth? He gets about 1 500 000 hits a day...... It must be in 6 figures?

Nothing. No one could run his domains at his skill level, let alone be able to copy his style and sooner or later the surfers would pick up on that and poof goes the serious traffic. A more accurate estimate would be between 5 - 10 million US tho. If you get all the hun domains. Hard to estimate the value of the trademark too. :)

I have to disagree, with a semi understanding of his scripts you could probably do it for a long time without the surfer every knowing, he doesnt add that much of a personal touch, just the odd joke etc, but the are all from a website, so the surfer wouldnt know or probably care, what they want is free porn and wont jump ship from a great site cause of an owner

wasn't the question targeted at the domain? That's different
from buying the domain inluding software/trademarks/etc.

I think the domain itself has a value but not really that high.
Without the site it will burn out quite fast and then you're left
with just another domain.

I dont know domain values but I have a banner there for my escort site and it sends a crazy amount of traffic im talking about 25K every day since I started the fiurst of july 2 datys ago it goes up and up

im getting traffic from thehun.nl and like 50 other sites like that he has thehuns.net etc

Actually the hun started just before the hubby did and back then the domains usually were 70 dollars and more. But still cheap for what its become eh?

The question is "What would you pay for the domain, the hun?" That said, the hun's domain is just as it sits. And that would include all the trimmings. It wasn't worded, if the hun stripped his things out, what would you pay. lol It is a developed domain so all that stuff would be included (except perhaps the scripting) He couldn't sell it and retain the trademark very well and where the trademark transfers, thus follows the other hun extensions. :winkwink:

I bet your wrong on how much he paid for the name, before I believe it was July of 97 network solutions was fucking everyone out of an additional $30 that was a selfimposed tax that they ended up just keeping after the goverment so that it was a no-no :feels-hot So my vote is for $100 :)
