i see this advertized for $35/month, pitching "up to 6.0 mbps"

what are realistic speeds, and realistic UPLOAD speeds?

had it before, there's a nice bit of overhead associated with dsl so you might expect around 5mbit download, and about 500kbps up

I don't think you will get 6mbs unless you live next door to your phone company... realistically I would imagine you would get 4-5mbps

Optimum Online , they just unleashed more BW since FIOS hit the market here in NY...

FIOS is capped also they hype it to seem you have fiber speeds coming in THROUGHOUT the house but it aint true

ahh, I see. Sucks none of the companies around Houston really try to compete with each other. Pretty much had the same speeds for the last 4-5 years :disgust
