Very interesting
Just a day ago I added a new billing plan in addition to the recurring 24.95 I have I added $69.95 for 12 months access
Its amazing that 1 I got more signups 2 most choose the 69.95 plan, I think cunsomers hate the rebilling thing a bit. Just wanted to tell the guys here who run paysites that it might pay to add a billing plan thats a flat fee not recurring |
One of my sponsors has two 1 time charges
also has recurring... he has 6 months and one year as one time.... 3 months and one month as recurring... |
Been doing this for moths. As soon as I offered more non-rebilling options, sales went up. The more straightforward I have been with people, the more they have paid.
Now, I offer a non-month nonrecurring membership at the same price as the first month of my recurring membership . It is very popular, and many people sign up for it months in a row, or every other month for a while. (As things are slow this summer, I have dropped the price of the rebilling, but that is how my standard pricing works.) Being honest with people has this crazy way of working. They like to know that they get to decide when we get their money. (Then again, I'm not exactly getting rich off of this...) --Ian X. |
Its very true that being true works, what other tricks can work to close more sales?
|
they will charge back :winkwink:

There's not set limits on chargebacks, it's up to their bank really. Those $69. chargebacks can add up ;)

I have never had a chargeback on my memberships that I have offered in the $60-100 range. Not once. The people who do that shit aren't willing to risk that kind of money on it... they tend to go with cheap memberships.

Indeed, same thing goes for hosting often yearly plans for several people I worked with sell a lot better than monthly recuring plans
