seo experts I need some help fucksakes

I remembered reading something about http://fucksakes.net and http://www.fucksakes.net with the www I got a pr 3, without I got 0, how can I make sure I got the same without it.

and why the fuck is my site not doing well for the keyword fucksakes?

I got gfy posts that I made the other day that are on page 1

fucksakes.

First problem you can solve by using google sitemaps and tell google which is your main url. Either with www or without.

Question 2: perhaps googlebot doesn't like all that swearing and cursing!

chaze 10-14-2006 03:13 PM

O.k. they are two different domains, and should be treated that way.

Just focus on the one with www. the other will sync to it after about 6 months. Just like parked domains do.

No as far as your keywords, ugg that's too much to go into sorry :upsidedow

Fucksakes 10-14-2006 03:21 PM

well when I had the .com it was pretty much handed to me, and now im fighting for the .net and it just doesnt seem possible..

btw the site been around for longer than 6 months unfortunatly.. just very unactive.. thanks to a load of shitty programmers..

gfx3 10-14-2006 03:36 PM

Your page is also not very SE friendly, I think you are best of by starting to learn some seo and work on your site. There sure is room for improvement. :)

yeah tell me about it, I got no damn linking structure.. after 6 months of going through programmers, this guy gets something up for me and at the last min I am asking him.. dude everything loads all in the same page.. fuck that isnt good.. oh well one step at a time.. after the site is up and doing well I will hunt down a serious programmer even if it costs xx,000$

I got big plans, and I will do whatever it takes to get there errrr.

301 redirect the non www one to the www one..

beta-tester 10-14-2006 05:06 PM

It's common canonical issue with your domain, just do a 301 redirection from either non www to www or vice versa and you're all set.
And yes, your site's got a lot of potenial just needs right person to do all that SEO stuff up there ;)

Cheers,
Beta

GooSearch 10-14-2006 05:08 PM

agreed i read a 301 redirect will not penilize you..i will look for the link..i have a lot of domains like that all dependson the way your inbound links are structured

I just read this about 301:

Will acquiring related domain names and using a 301 redirect to the final website after the aquisition get a site banned or penilized? In this occasion no because the domain name was related, but if you run a music site for instance and then all of a sudden get a tonne of links from sites about debt consolidation, cheap online etc? that might raise a few eyebrows.

chaze 10-14-2006 05:29 PM

But then read this from site point:

if they have the same thematic, you could get a part of your ranking back, but you will still be penalized since SEs dont like redirections.

My guess why risk it, just use the www. for all linking ect..

beta-tester 10-14-2006 05:39 PM

chaze, you're not right. There is NO penalty nor ban for 301 redirection. It's absolutely painless method of making bots index what you want them index and not serving them duplicate content!

thanks guys, and beta-tester you available for ...

madawgz 10-14-2006 06:32 PM

if your www. PR is higher than your nonwww PR that simply means more sites are linking to your site through the www.

all you have to do is get links coming in with the www and it should balance itself out...`

if you already knew that, why did you ask?

donkevlar 10-15-2006 04:35 PM

If you're having trouble it may be because "Fuck Sakes" does not mean anything. I think what you mean is "Fuck's Sake".

marketsmart 10-15-2006 04:42 PM

good seo tips in here :)

fucksakes is a commonly used word.. and why does it matter if it has a meaning?

if i had a site called 3tassdriu and that was my keyword, it should be easier to get.. or am I missing something here?

and madawg, I know that incoming links help pr.. but why would I want to send some to the www and some to the non www, to even things out?

and my question was how can I get around that.. not having to even things out like you say..

VexXxed 10-15-2006 09:56 PM

1.) 301 redirect will help pass the PR... looks like you already got that in effect.
2.) Since your gfy post is ranking higher than your domain, perhaps you should go back and edit your post to have a backlink to your domain :winkwink:
3.) Get more backlinks with "fucksakes" as the anchor text, if that is truelly what you want to rank for. (easy method of this is requiring it as a recip on all gallery submissions)

Fucksakes 10-15-2006 10:01 PM

thanks vexxxed, yeah fucksakes is not really a keyword I desire, but would be nice to have, doesn't look hard to accomplish.

I prefer the keyword porn hehe.
