Yes, I'm a cheap shit and usually wait until movies make it to digital cable before watching them. Every time I hit the theatre I leave feeling raped, with the 15 bucks to get in and the 12 bucks for a drink and a fucking thing of popcorn.

I took two of my nieces to see "Open Season" a few days ago. It cost me $42, not including the cash spent on the whack-a-mole game in the arcade before the movie.

As for Kong, I thought it was too long.

They coulda shaved 30 minutes off of it, but it was still pretty good. Hopefully you have a good home theater system, because this movie will really make good use of it.

It was pretty good overall. Naomi Watts looks spectacular with the 1920's look she was sporting.

They didn't build many women like her back then.


The pole-vaulting native onto the ship was a bit much, and I don't think I know anyone who could stand up on the top of a building that high and not crap themselves senseless and scramble for something to hang onto... but all in all it was very well done.

I thought it was pretty entertaining and enjoyed it

The 1930s version is better imho

I like all 3 versions actually. Each has their own merits.

It's one of the greatest fantasy adventure stories ever written.

I went to the movies and saw it, first hour of it made me unable to enjoy the rest. On DVD after skipping the first hour it is a great movie.

Negroids manage to do it all the time so it isn't that far of a stretch. That ape got some major white poontang.
