what does him being a nice guy have to do with it? Sure getting 9 of 10 needed signups is close but it is not 10 within the required time. If I get 5 of the 6 numbers on the lottery, they aren't just gonna give me the top prize because I was close to getting 6 numbers.

Don't get me wrong, if they gave it to him it would be sweet but who's to say that next time someone gets 7 sales on the contest day and 3 the next that he wouldn't complain since they bent the rules for someone else?
