Since the Religion talk ban hammer has been repealed, a question.
Anybody here a Universalist?
Their 10 rules kind of look interesting. I am all for evolution, big bang, and so forth yet that stupid mystery of nothing and then a super small explosion that started it all quagmire has intrigued me. Nothing then something. Ok never mind, about to ramble. I am rather fond of star worship. Since I am fairly certain we all are here because of it, and because of the deaths of other stars. In assorted ways we are all bits of burnt out stars anyways right? PS. No I am not going Donny on anyone. I am also highly under the influence of assorted cold/flu make it tolerable medications. Combined that with Google, wikipedia, and well here is the result. |
I really like listening to the CD series "The Power of Kabbalah". It brings up interesting beliefs on how we got here. You'd probably like them. They're not from any particular religious system.
|
PPS was not trying to insult you either.
Nah Kabbalah reaks of celebrity trash to me. |
Oh and bracelets saying what I am is not something I care about.

A meteor hit mars millions of years ago, some "life" was thrown into space as dust, fragments, or something and voila here we are. Earthlings are martians.

I don't like the celebrity crap either. I just liked the CD series. It made a lot of sense when I listened to it. In fact, I loaded it into iTunes on my laptop and was listening to some of it again today. It works well with any belief system, from Christianity to --- whatever. |
It makes sense to me. Einstein showed how energy never goes away, just changes form. So when a star (or a human) dies, their energy becomes something else, like part of a new star, a tree, etc.
Do you remember the series Cosmos hosted by Carl Sagan? I remember one of the episodes he talked about this. He said "we are star stuff." pretty awesome |

you told him :1orglaugh |
I'm an Archiotist, a follower of Lord Archiot, the robot God. There is no religion better than Archiotism.

Cliff note version (rare for me) Nothing. Small light from something smaller than an electron. Grew bigger. Matter and anti matter start canceling each other out. Matter wins by a slight margin. Expanding real fast still. To fast for electrons to settle down. Starts to cool. Electrons slow up and hydrogen/helium form. Unstable stars form Stars go boom Boom makes more elements, ok collapse does but these are cliff notes. Repeats many more times with more dense atoms. Universe gets past iron issue. Iron core stars form. They go boom too. Eventually there is us. Latter on everything will be torn apart as the universe continues to build up expanding speed. The end. |

The possibility of cosmic explosion that started all these is far more reasonable compared to other existing theories and supernatural claims. IMO
