You know, the United States District Attorney who is prosecuting this case should be shot in the head. "He faces as many as 10 years in prison on two counts. Prosecutors have recommended a prison term of two years and three months when he is sentenced on Jan. 19."
This gift is given for what reason? Because the defendant has shown overwhelming remorse for his crime? "I accepted things I shouldn't have with the result that Jack Abramoff used my name to advance his own secret schemes of fraud and theft in ways I could never have imagined.'' No, no, that cant be it.
Absoultely disgusting. I wonder if Abramoff represented any Bible thumbers against this industry and in turn got laws into the books that are against all of us.
This is where a diehard Republican puke would normally add a "God Bless the USA!" tagline. I'll tell ya what, if God blessed this cesspool, he surely is a goddamn idiot.
