Explain Anime/Hentai/Cartoon Porn and the Differences
 

Ok, there seems to be so many different words for cartoon porn. Some call it cartoon porn, some call it anime porn, some call it hentai porn. Now what's the difference in them? Are they all different types? If I had a anime site, would throwing a hentai site on it be taboo or something?

Anime = Animation, and is the Japanese equivelent of cartoons. Examples of anime productions are programs like Evangelion, Love Hina, Full Metal Panic, Chobits.. etc etc. Anime shouldn't be classed as adult although some anime may have adult content.

Hentai = "pervert" or "perversion" in Japanese. It is usually associated with erotic or sexually-explicit anime.

Cartoon Porn = American style toons drawn specifically for adults.

Those are the technical definitions, although it isn't uncommon to see sites claiming anime porn etc etc.
